soak rice and mung dal (2:1 proportion) for 20 min in water
melt ghee add peppercorns,tejpatta,star anise,elaichi,lawang
let it crackel..
add sliced onions
let it become translucent
roughly muddle some garlic cloves add..
saute...and then add soaked rice n mung daal...
saute...and add boiling water...double the (rice +dal)
(tip- whenevr cook rice with absorption method use water in 1:2 proportion to rice..means double the quantity of rice)
let it simmer n cook
u can also give tadka with oil,mustard seeds,whole red chilli,kadhi patta and hing...
to enhance the taste/...
i like it with melted sajuk tup..ghee
sometimes with aambyache lonache
sometimes with aambat god aamati
sometimes with khatti mithi gujarathi kadhi
sometimes with lasun chutney

tikhat- chamchabhar
mith-chavinusar
lasun paste- 1spoon
limbu ras- [optional]
halad- few pinches
Tel-1 med size spoon
Jire- phodani sathi
jire and dhane powder-half spoon

Kruti-

1. aadhi tavyavar tel ghalane.
garam zalyavar jire,lasun ghalane.

2. aach kami karun tyat halad,tikhat ani patapat shendana kut ghalave. nit mix karave ani dhana jira pud ghalavi.Mith ghalave. he sagale slow gas war karave ani gas band karava.

[lagech aawadat asla tarach limbu ras ghalava..]

3.bhendi ubhe chirave. aar par chiru naye. tyat he shengadana kut mishran bharave.

4 Non stick tavyavar tel ghya.
gas medium theva ani tyavar ek ek bhendi saran varchya bajula yeil asha padhatine theva. eka bajune fry zale ki palata..

5 jar laglech tar thode agadi thode pani mara. and donhi bajune kurkurit fry kara..
