Syrian mutton fry
Ingredients:
  • Mutton pieces- 200 g (cooked)
  • Coconut oil - 1 tbsp.
  • Jeera- 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves- 1 spring
  • Green chillies- 2tsp
  • Onions finely chopped- ½ cup
  • Garlic finely chopped – 2 tbsp.
  • Coconut freshly grated- ¼ cup
  • Salt- to taste
  • Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves- 2 tsp
Method:
  • Heat coconut oil in a kadai.
  • Add jeera, curry leaves, finely chopped green chillies and finely chopped onions and sauté till transparent.
  • Add finely chopped garlic and grated coconut.
  • Keep stirring till coconut looses its moisture.
  • Add salt and turmeric powder and keep stirring till oil comes.
  • Add the cooked mutton pieces. Mix well.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
