Syrian mutton fry
Ingredients:
- Mutton pieces- 200 g (cooked)
- Coconut oil - 1 tbsp.
- Jeera- 1 tsp
- Curry leaves- 1 spring
- Green chillies- 2tsp
- Onions finely chopped- ½ cup
- Garlic finely chopped – 2 tbsp.
- Coconut freshly grated- ¼ cup
- Salt- to taste
- Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
- Coriander leaves- 2 tsp
Method:
- Heat coconut oil in a kadai.
- Add jeera, curry leaves, finely chopped green chillies and finely chopped onions and sauté till transparent.
- Add finely chopped garlic and grated coconut.
- Keep stirring till coconut looses its moisture.
- Add salt and turmeric powder and keep stirring till oil comes.
- Add the cooked mutton pieces. Mix well.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
