एक पाडाची कैरी. एक टे. स्पून तेल, चिमूट मेथी, हिग, मोहरी, हळद, चमचाभर लाल तिखट, चवीप्रमाणे गूळ व मीठ.
कृती :-
जरा पिकू लागलेल्या कैरीचा गर काढावा. बाठ्यालाही बऱ्यापैकी गर ठेवावा. कढईत एक टे. स्पून तेल, चिमूट मेथी, हिग, हळद, मोहरी घालून खमंग फोडणी करावी. त्यात गराचा बाठा घाला. काढलेला गरही घालावा. दोन वाट्या पाणी घालावे. तिखट, मीठ घालावे. दोन उकळ्या आल्यावर गूळ घालावा व शिजवावे. मुळातच पाडाच्या अर्धवट पिकलेला आंबा खूप चवदार असतो. त्यामुळे हा मेथांबा खूपच चविष्ट होतो.
